Volkswagen TDI Pressure converter for the EGR valve, also know as N18 valve, fits A3 Jetta TDI, B4 Passat TDI as well as the A4 1999 VW Jetta TDI, Golf TDI and 1998-1999 New Beetle TDI on the A4 chassis with engine code ALH. Does not fit model year 2000 or later.

When failed, this device may cause an EGR fault code and fail emissions testing.

This valve will only fit early 98 New Beetle/99.5 Jetta/Golf that uses a square connector, see pictre. Unfortunately this is a VW-only item so its price is higher. We also sell the later style connector if you want to use the newer style valve ($100 cheaper) here.
