We've put together the best OE replacement and upgrade brake products available into a set for the rear of your MkIV Golf TDI, Jetta TDI, or New Beetle TDI.

One set will replace pads and rotors on both rear wheels.

Rotors

The default kits comes standard with high quality, plated rotors that were chosen specifically by our staff. We chose these rotors because of their higher carbon content than other rotors on the market. This makes for a harder, more durable rotor that is less prone to warping. And with rust-resistant plating, they will hold up to even the harshest environments. We also offer Meyle Platinum and Zimmerman rotors.

Pads

We now recommend the new style "Ceramic" pads for their low-dust and longer life than traditional pads. By default, this kit comes with PowerStop Ceramic pads. The full set of brake pad options include:

• PowerStop Ceramic - now our best selling pad, ceramic compound with less dust and long life
• Mintex - one of the most recognizable names in aftermarket brakes, makes a great all-around pad for a great price
• TRW - OEM on many VW models, TRW has the best OEM "feel" and the most initial bite of any pad we carry. TRW pads create more brake dust than ceramic pads.
• Akebono Ceramic - the ultimate in performance, Akebono is the market leader in high performance ceramic brake pads.

For vehicles that are due for a brake fluid change as well, 2 liters of fluid will allow for a complete flush.

Please be aware that MkIV Jetta/Golf/New Beetle rear calipers must be "reset" when pushing the piston back into the caliper. Using a proper Rear Brake Tool is vital to this reset, otherwise the caliper and parking brake will be ruined.
