This is a complete kit includes a dual mass flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc, and throwout bearing. Dual mass flywheels are the smoothest clutch design and have very light clutch pedal pressure making them the nicest clutch to drive. Should easily hold up to 260 ft/lbs of torque.

Note that this clutch comes fully assembled with flywheel and pressure plate already torqued and the clutch disk pre-aligned.

This clutch will fit A3, B4, A4 and A5 TDIs. Because of this, it's also a less expensive replacement for failing A5 clutches if the dealer won't warranty the repair. Includes flywheel and pressure plate bolts.

I didn't know what OEM system came with my 2005.5 Jetta until I dropped the transaxle. Turns out it was a Sachs. While it wasn't in as bad shape as I suspected (about 7 teeth play), it did make some whirring noises and was always a little rough upon engagement. Upon installation of this Luk kit, all I can say is night and day difference in smoothness of engagement. I have owned this Jetta from day one and the clutch has always been less than smooth. It's like a new car now. I'm glad I put this in and I highly recommend the Luk. For those that think they need to switch to a SMF, think twice. I can't imagine a more smooth clutch system than this. I don't know why the Sachs was such a poor performer originally, but it was.

This was a smooth transition non-chipped TDI engines ALH and PD butonce chipped was a little slippery. I would recommend this option, non-chipped in PD motors and slight chipped ALH motors but not a full on stage 2 or 3.

Smoothest clutch option period. I have two TDIs, one with a G60 single mass, I was happy with it but for the 2nd TDI I went with this LUK setup and I'm glad I did. Works great.
