Important Jetta & Sportwagen Fitment Information

There are two styles of fuel filters: one is open at both ends with raised collars. The other style is closed at one end. You must correctly identify your vehicle's filter using the information in the image provided.

Examine your fuel filter housing using the image & directions.

IDParts is not responsible if you choose the incorrect filter. Please call us with any questions, we are happy to walk you through determining your fuel filter type.

This Kit Is Customizable

The default components are the items recommended by IDParts. Air, oil, cabin and fuel filters are from OE suppliers to VW, like MANN-FILTER and Mahle. Oil filter o-rings are included.

This kit includes an OEM DSG cartridge filter for no extra charge! We have purchased DSG filters directly from VW's manufacturers overseas, UFI and Filtran. They are identical in every way to the OEM filters, just without the VW markup or VW sticker! We still carry VW-sticker filters for $5 extra for those who still want the label.

All oil options in this kit are approved VWAG 507.00 specification oils. The VW 507.00 specification is specifically for the newest TDI models with particulate filters. It is vital to the health of the TDI emissions systems to use the correct 507.00 specification oil. Using a 507.00 approved oil also protects your VW warranty. Options include:

Rowe Hightec Synth DPF 5w30- fully synthetic, multi-grade, low-viscosity premium engine oil. Made in Germany.
Total Ineo Long Life 504/507 - our best selling 507.00 specification oil.
Liqui Moly Long Life III - the newest 507.00 formulation from Liqui Moly. Made in Germany.
VW High Performance 0w30 - OEM VW & Audi oil used at dealerships.
Mobil 1 ESP 5w30 - 507.00 approval with high HTHS.
Pentosin Super Perf. III - 507.00 approved Made in Germany

The 10k, 20k, and 40k service kits have everything you need. Very convenient ordering and competitive price. The LiquiMoly oil jug has a handy pull out pour spout, so you don't need a funnel (one less thing to clean). The Total jug lacks the pour spout. I'll try Pentosin since it is on sale this weekend. Since I live in NY, my order always arrives in 1-2 days with standard shipping. I recommend IDParts to all my TDI owning friends. I have spoken with customer service on the phone, and they are knowledgeable....

This 40k service kit was convenient and well priced, and included nearly everything I needed with the exception being the tools to fill the DSG (purchased separately). Everything was great quality, fit well and worked as intended. I couldn\'t believe the amount of junk in my cabin filter. I\'ll be picking another one up in 40k more miles to keep the 2.0 TDI running strong.

I started to research this kit after having the $1k service estimate dropped on my unprepared ears. Even after having to get the VCDS to go with this, it was still cheaper and easier to do myself. Kit came without issue, and everything worked well. How-to videos were very helpful also. See you guys in 10k miles!

Another easy purchase from IDParts. Arrived well packaged in just a few days. Rowe oil, Mann filters, OE trans filter all made in EU. The cabin filter is OE made in MX. Be aware that Hengst oil filters are made in China, if that matters. Everything fit & worked perfect. Thanks!

Great kit! I priced everything out through different websites, local stores, and IDparts.com was still the cheapest! Everything came as described and was packaged well. It even came a few days early (was supposed to receive Friday actually received Wednesday.)

Kit was very nice, my only complaintwas that the oil jug leaked. I called Customer Service and they sent me a liter to replace what was lost. I suggested that all fluid jugs be bagged like the coolant was.
