5' block heater cord for the Jeep Liberty CRD and Ram 1500.

Ram 1500 Ecodiesel models sold in the United States were equipped with a block heater at the factory but were not equipped with a cord to actually use the block heater.  The block heater is located on the passenger side of the block and has an orange cap on it.  Take the cap off and plug in this cord to use your block heater to help with extra cold starts.

2005-2006 Jeep Liberty CRD models were equipped with a cable from the factory, though it was tied up.

What our customers say...

Cheap way to get the block heater hooked up on my Ram!

I haven't ordered the part, so this isn't a review, but the description doesn't mention the location of the Jeep CRD block heater plug, so I'm posting this for informational purposes. The three prong plug is on the driver side (opposite side of the RAM). You can pull a bad cord by reaching up from below (crawl under *behind* the front tire at the driver's door) and yanking it out, but getting a replacement cord plugged back in is proving near impossible without removing some things (like the alternator and/or the EGR). I have long, skinny arms, and I'm not able to get the cord plugged back in, so be aware that it will take some doing to get the cord plugged back in.
