Finally got around to installing my Sachs quiet clutch kit with SM flywheel. It took me about 3 days under my car. Not because the kit was complicated but because my car is from 2001 and needed quite a lot of cleaning. So much cleaning....so much corrosion. I also took the time to replace shifter ends and the right output flange seal among other things. Anyway, my initial test drive had me shocked. The clutch was so much lighter than the original and much smoother to shift now. Mind you I had about 370k kms it over the last 18 years on the old one. Excellent kit. I would recommend this to anyone.

I installed the IDParts quiet clutch and SM flywheel on my 2003 wagon. 10,000 miles later and clutch still feels amazing. Great linear feel and precise engagement point. No noticeable rattle with the single mass. Quality of parts is very high. I installed the metal gasket incorrectly behind the flywheel and IDParts got me a new set of one time use flywheel bolts right quick so I could redo. Highly recommend.

When they say complete kit they mean it... this kit is amazing fits exactly like OEM but is a single mass instead of the dual mass. Only thing I think would make this kit better is a add on kit for the real main seal as well since your already there might as well, and a lock out pin for the shift cables

Kit worked great! Installed the IDParts SMF and VR6 clutch, also installed new rear main seal. Everything bolted up easy and worked like OEM. Clutch feel is very light and linear. Installed on a 2004 Golf w/ BEW and 02J trans. Definitely would recommend this kit!

Great kit - everything one needs is there (including the bolts for the dog bone). May as well order a new dog bone while you\'re at it ;)
