Cylinder head rebuild kit for the OM642 engine used in the NCV3 Sprinter Van, Mercedes ML, GL, E and R-Class plus the 07-08 Grand Cherokee CRD.

This complete kit includes all the components to refresh the cylinder head. This kit is designed to complement the OM642 Cylinder Block Rebuild kit in order to do a complete engine overhaul, including:

Since there are 2 heads on this V6, you can select parts for the left side, right side, or both heads in the dropdown below. Some parts are different right vs. left, so, please select which side you need correctly. Left side is the driver side, right side is the passenger side. Select "Both" if you are rebuilding both cylinder heads.

Oil Cooler Seals

We strongly recommend ordering two replacement oil cooler seals, available. The seal on the oil cooler is notorious for leaking, and it is very easy to replace when the cylinder head is removed. Save yourself a lot of time in the future by replacing the oil cooler seal. Order two!
