Oil filter for the 2020+ Wrangler, Gladiator, and the 5th Gen (DT) Ram 1500 with the EXJ EcoDiesel engine.
The 2020 EcoDiesel oil filter is not removable from the filter cap requiring the whole assembly to be replaced at each oil change. The plastic cap has an integrated oil bypass valve. Using the "old" style filter will mean that there is no bypass valve risking engine damage if oil flow through the filter is insufficient.
