This kit makes glow plug changes easier by upgrading the factory intake elbow bolts with studs. Studs also provide greater clamping force compared to the factory bolts. Also included is our custom upgraded aramid nitrile intake elbow gasket for a perfect seal. Nitrile is a synthetic rubber resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals. Aramid (Kevlar) fibers are strong, heat-resistant synthetic fibers used in aerospace and military applications.

This kit would be a very useful addition to a Jeep CRD that has had the EGR system deleted. If you still have the EGR system in place on your vehicle, then I doubt that this kit will be of use to you. Perhaps you are really good mechanic and can make it fit. My CRD's still have the EGR systems in place. As such, I do not have the clearance to fit the intake air system onto the EGR tube and then attach it to the intake manifold. I tried to make this kit work, but I just cannot get enough clearance for it. I stayed with the four original bolts.
