The vast majority of brake pads are made by a very small number of manufacturers.  After years of research and testing, IDParts has partnered with one of the world's best manufacturers to make brake pads to our specifications.

What does this mean?  This means that IDParts sets the specifications for quality and performance, and we don't skimp on the details.  Where applicable, all our pads come with the highest quality rubberized rear shims for the queitest possible operations.  Most models offer champfered edges as well.  We also put our pads through a high-temperature scorching process that eliminates the need for complicated brake-in procedures.  Whats more, we also include new brake clips for most models that use them!

There are 4 variations of IDParts Brake Pads available:

• IDParts OE-Spec: low-metallic formulation with OE European friction ratings, including good initial grab and bite
• IDParts Ceramic: the newest technology in brake pads produces nearly zero dust and last up to 3x longer than tradiational pads
• IDParts Performance: upgraded friction coefficients in a Ceramic blend formula, great performance
• IDParts Race: this is no marketing ploy - these pads are SERIOUS race pads. Made from a Kevlar based forumla, these have HUGE initial bite and grab even when hot.  However, these pads wear QUICKLY and should be replaced after every track session and we do not recommend them for street use.
