Air-in-fuel problems inevitably arise on the Liberty CRD platform due to a fundamental design choice to not implement a low-pressure in-tank lift pump like what was implemented on the Dodge Cummins CP3 system. Jeep gave us a relay and a fuse, but the in-tank lift pump was scrapped for production: clearly a cost-savings measure, rather than a technical one.
Installing a lift pump eliminates air-in-fuel issues, reduces wear on the high pressure CP3 pump, and improves cold weather starting. Unfortunately the OEM harness is no longer available from Mopar, so Sasquatch Parts has made this plug-and-play harness. This makes the Cummins low pressure, in-tank lift pump retrofit process as easy as possible, saving time and reducing hassle. Made by hand in small batches right here in the USA. OE-quality wiring and sealed connectors; everything is professionally soldered, shrink-wrapped and loomed.
