Sludge is bad! The the 2.8L Duramax engine found in the 2015+ Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon has an oil mist problem. Significant amounts of oil vapors (which also include water, raw diesel fuel, abrasive particulate matter and other contaminates) make their way from the crankcase into the intake, through the turbocharger compressor and intercooler (where it accumulates) and finally mixes with soot from the EGR, clogging the intake manifold with thick, oily sludge. Over time, this sludge will block intake ports and cause expensive engine components to fail prematurely. Additionally, oil mist accumulates in your intake hoses, rotting them out and filling the intercooler with oil, causing premature component failure and significant repair costs.
Our kit prevents these harmful oil vapors from making it into your intake in the first place. Featuring the proven MANN ProVent 200 IV and our custom-formed hoses, this kit is the best option for safely and reliably redirecting that harmful oil vapor and capturing it in a filtration system, where it can simply be drained at each oil change. Our mounting system and hoses make installation and maintenance simple, and all components are of the highest quality available.
