This is South Bend's Stage 3 Daily clutch kit with a new LUK dual mass flywheel. The OFE clutch and flywheel kit combines the newest technology in linings: A Feramic full face lining on the flywheel side and a "Medium Metal" content Organic lining on the pressure plate side. This combination runs cooler and significantly extends clutch life. The OFE series clutch not only engages very smoothly, it will hold up to 470 ft/lbs of torque in this application. Comes with new flywheel clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, bolts, and alignment tool. This clutch will work with the provided LUK flywheel only. Will not work with SACHS flywheels.

-1 Year Review - This clutch is not for the faint hearted. At first it is a leg press. Over time it does get lighter after the break in period. I bought the car with a bad stock clutch. So I can't really compare the two. Other than you can use your pinky toe to press the stock clutch damn near. But with this stage 3 clutch it's a leg press. Performance of the clutch has been great. Once I hit the summer months. I ran into an issue of the clutch biting at the bottom of my pedal once my fluid heated up ( stock clutch line expanding ). This would happen when I would get stuck in stop and go traffic for 30 mins daily after work. I poked around online and found a stainless braided line that was more up the task. Said it didn't fit the 2015 vw passat tdi. But I made it work. Solved my problem. The clutch fluid doesn't expand the line nearly as much in stop and go traffic. Overall this thing bites immediately and violently. If you're looking for a heavy duty clutch then this is your clutch. Just be wary of the stock clutch line having to hold up to the new clutches pressure.
