Transmission oil pan for the 7-speed, 722.9 early automatic transmission equipped in all OM642 3.0L BluTEC diesel Mercedes models. This a revised version of the pan from Mercedes with a sloped front edge. Vehicles may have been equipped with a pan from the factory with a square front edge. This version replaces the square edge pan. 

This pan will not work on the late 722.9 transmission with code A89 low friction that uses blue 236.15 transmission fluid.
