This vacuum line runs from the pump at the end of the camshaft to the brake booster. Part of it is plastic and is prone to splitting with age. Replacing this line can help remedy a low or sinking brake pedal. Has new built-in check valve.
This line can also get plugged with debris, or the check valve can fail. Symptoms of a failed line includes a hard-to-press brake pedal and potentially low boost due to insufficient vacuum for the turbocharger actuator.
