Water in fuel, or WIF, sensor for the the silverado,sierra HD Duramax with engine code LMM. This sensor will cause a warning light on the dash when it detects water buildup in the filter, meaning the filter must be drained or replaced.
This sensor should be replaced every other fuel filter change or so to avoid false warnings.
