IDParts has put together a complete service kit for a thermostat replacement on 1999-2003 Mk. IV TDIs. Often times, the thermostat housing breaks upon removal of the thermostat, or a bolt gets lost or stripped. This kit solves that problem and includes everything you need to successfully replace the thermostat:

  • Thermostat w/ OEM style locking tabs (makes installation MUCH MUCH easier)
  • Thermostat Housing
  • Thermostat Housing O-Ring Seal
  • 2 Thermostat to Block Bolts

Coolant is available as an add-on below.  If you properly lock in the thermostat to the housing you should lose less than a quart of coolant.
