The factory torque converter on the Liberty CRD has been extremely problematic. Even at stock power levels, the OE converter was prone to failure, and many owners have replaced theirs more than once.
This "European" version solves all that. With a much lower stall speed and much higher power rating, this converter can even handle high power tunes - such as the "HOT" tunes from GDE - without any shudder.
This is a "rebuilt" unit - the casing has been rebuilt using new upgraded internals. Because it is a rebuilt unit there is a $250 core refund.
