We've put together the best OE replacement and upgrade brake products available into a set for the front of your MkV Jetta TDI or Mk6 Jetta, Beetle, Golf, or Audi A3 TDI.

Rotors

  • Fremax High Carbon - the default rotors on this kit are our highest recommended rotor too. The high carbon formula resists warping and dissipates heat much more quickly than traditional rotors. Painted on the non-contact surfaces
  • Brembo -  world leader in braking technology. UV anti corrosion protection.  

Pads

We now recommend the new style "Ceramic" pads for their low-dust and longer life than traditional pads. The full set of brake pad options include:

  • Wagner Quiet Stop -very similar to original equipment pads and use the same material as OE
  • Textar - made to match the performance and longevity of the OE factory pads.
  • Brembo - the industry leader in friction material.  

For vehicles that are due for a brake fluid change as well, 2 liters of fluid will allow for a complete flush.

For cars with 288mm rotors. Not for Jetta/Golf Sportwagen TDI or TDI Cup Edition with 312mm rotors, for those cars see the 312mm Brake Set.

This brake kit is awesome. Just installed on my TDI and boy are the new rotors smooth. I got the fremax high carbon rotors and the ceramic pads. I was worried that I would regret not getting the upgraded rotors but the base rotors are pretty superb. The parts that normally rust up are painted so they will look nice for years to come. The Ceramic pads are quiet and seem to "bite" better than the semi-metallic pads I took off of my car. I went ahead and ordered new rotor screws which I feel is worth it. They put so much salt on the roads around here that I take any chance to put new hardware on and potentially mitigate some rust issues next time I have take it apart. So far I'm very happy. Fits great Halten G pads take a long Time to “Wear in” softer pedal for these ceramics need to get hot to work good. Performed a brake flush at the same time.
