All dimensions checkout. The quality seems great. Comparisons to the highly sought after Goetze 08-433000-00 "upgraded" Diamond coated compression ring & LNZ oil ring for the BRM, The KOLBENSCHMIDT look very similar with the most obvious difference being that the second compression/oil ring on the KOLBENSCHMIDT 800000810000 has a "rough textured" Chromed running face(unlike the top compression rings smooth chrome running face.(my theory for the rougher chrome is the second ring gets less compression pressure to properly seat the smooth chrome like the top compression ring)The Goetze second ring does not have a chrome running surface. Talking with Darkside, and quite a few other TDI enthusiasts with experience from EU and UK, KOLBENSCHMIDT is the only ring they use. I have sent the Goetze & KOLBENSCHMIDT second rings to Total Seal to be modified to "Gapless". Only time will tell which is superior if either. Overall, Unmodified, Both KOLBENSCHMIDT and Goetze make unmatched quality ring packs for the TDI platforms. Pick your poison. I wouldn't recommend anything else. Best Regards,Bo Mason.
