I am reviewing this hose because of a important feature it has: the area of the hose which crosses the radiator shroud is visibly reinforced. A properly installed hose should never contact the shrould - there is a bracket attached to the hose which holds it away - but a carelessly installed hose may touch the shroud and be silently worn away until it suddenly starts leaking when you are miles from home in western Massachusetts. Perhaps in other states too. It may be that having the hose reinforced would have been beneficial.
