New oil filter spindle and cap for the OM651 motor. The spindle can break if the cap is over-tightened, so it is vital to follow the torque specification printed on the top of the cap.
To avoid damaging the cap, always use a 74mm/16 flat oil filter wrench. Using pliers or a strap wrench can damage or crack the cap.
