This is the PCV (or CCV) valve that sits on the top of the valve cover. This seals fits Liberty CRD. Two are required to complete the job.
Yes, two are required. Failure of these seals may masquerade as a bad valve cover gasket or rear crank seal. Oil concentrated on rear of valve cover and pooling around #4 injector is telltale. Mobilize the overlying wiring harness to aid access. 8mm quarter inch drive shallow socket. Be careful to clean the valve cover openings and lubricate the new o-rings and opposing valve cover opening with clean engine oil. Carefully seat both ends of the PCV body until none of the oil rings are visible, otherwise they may pinch, deform and leak. PCV audibly popped down in place as seals seated. Confident this will solve my leak issue. FYI, the cam position sensor sits just below and immediately behind the PCV puck and also has an o-ring seal so it is an additional, though unlikely oil contributor.
Fit like a glove!
