A fully customizable suspension kit for A4 chassis MkIV Jetta sedan, Golf and New Beetle - choose your model below and choose either OE rate or OE+ Bilstein TC or TC Sports.
Springs in this kit are made by SUPLEX in Germany, have a high quality powdercoat finish, have OE-accurate paint codes and are OE+ quality. Different spring sets are available for the Jetta, Golf & New Beetle. Each of these models uses a unique spring rate and length, and we stock the unique versions for each version of the MkIV A4 platform. These have a powder coated black finish and OE spring color codes painted on them.
Choose your shocks based on your personal preference.
- Sachs OE Dampers - default factory rate damping for Jetta and Golf prioritizes ride comfort without sacrificing handling. These are our recommended choice for most drivers.
- Bilstein TC - this "Touring Class" shock is 10-15% stiffer than stock, improving handling and response without introducing harshness.
- Bilstein TC Sport - our recommendation for New Beetles, these are valved slightly stiffer than the normal TC, designed to be used with factory "sport" springs that were factory equipped on the New Beetle and GTI models.
The suspension bolt kit includes all the bolts and nuts that are removed during this job. These bolts are often subject to the worst of road salt and grime and may be rusty beyond reuse.
Pro Tip: If you want to install these new struts without taking apart your old struts, you need to order the mounts and bump stops via the checkboxes below PLUS add 2 Front Spring Top Perches, one pair of Strut Boot Covers and 2 Strut Top Nuts via the selections below.
Because this kit uses standard rear shocks and springs we do not recommend it for Jetta Wagon models that require longer rear shocks and springs.
