The A5/Mk6 and Mk6 chassis vehicles are infamous for front end creaking coming from the subframe.  The factory stretch bolts did not hold the subframe tight enough against the frame, allowing the subframe to move slightly, generating this unpleasant noise.

VW released a TSB regarding the issue along with these new revised bolts.  We suggest replacing the rear and front subframe bolts together.

OEM VW parts come from VW and are clearly marked with the VW logo and part number and/or boxed in VW boxes or bags. While IDParts.com sources many parts directly from manufacturers that supply VW, items marked as OEM VW are purchased from Volkswagen itself.
