Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) for modern Mercedes Benz 5 and 7-speed transmissions up to June 2010 (722.6 and 722.9). Officially approved for Mercedes Benz 236.14. Backwards compatible with Mercedes 236.12, which covered MB transmissions 722.3/4/5.
Red in color. Transmissions newer than June 2010 may have BLUE fluid which is NOT COMPATIBLE.
Transfer Case Fluid: this is the transfer case fluid in all W164 ML, X164 GL, W251 R and X204 GLK class. Models that take later blue fluid still use RED fluid in the transfer case. Transfer case capacity is 1 liter.
