New vane actuator for the 2.0L common rail TDI turbocharger. The 2.0L TDI motor used a Borg-Warner turbocharger with a "smart" actuator that used a feedback sensor to report its position to the ECU.
My failed actuator held no vacuum whatsoever and caused my car to go into limp mode with flashing glow plug light. Highly recommend removing the valve cover when changing the actuator. Takes a bit more time but will save you from lots of frustration and might save you more time in the long run. Highly recommend this particular turbo actuator as it comes with a "C" clip that locks the 2 nuts in place once the actuator voltages are set to spec so no need to use loctite.
Be prepared to remove the valve cover. It\'s possible to get the actuator off but with so little room and a non- magnetic nut it is difficult to reattach.
