Special 17mm socket specifically designed for injector lines and EGT sensors where it is impossible to fit a socket over the holding nut because a fuel line or EGT coupling is blocking it.  This socket has a cut out area where it can slip over and around the item in the way and has enough space so that the socket can rotate at least one turn.

  • This tool is referenced by VW/Audi as the T40055 socket for the removal of the EGT sensor on VW/Audi vehicles. 
  • This tool is ideal for removal of the fuel injector lines on OM642 engines
