Neat device, bought one for emergency kit in all four of our TDI’s. We have run into rural fuel stations in GA, FL and SC where these would have saved time and irritation all our TDI,s now have the safety feature where only highway diesel automobile sized pump bores fit in the fuel filler opening and you are out of luck if station has only truck (jumbo bore filler nozzle) or as we have run into in several cases old leaded gas or even unleaded nozzles on the diesel pump. Better to use this kit than run system dry or suck the dregs from the bottom of your tank and damage the dreaded high pressure fuel pump

Works good. I bought it hoping that it would facilitate the filling of my diesel cans I use to fuel my tractor. Some moron in DC decided that the fill nozzle on gas station Off-Road Deisel should be too large to fit into diesel automotive fill. Well, that means they are too large in diameter to fit in my 5 gallon yellow diesel cans. It\'s a god-awful mess trying to fill these, and I don\'t feel like loading my tractor on my trailer to take it to the gas station for a fill. The large opening accommodates the filling nozzle of the pump and the small opening fits into my 5-gallon can

This has saved my bacon more than once now. If you road trip your TDI (who doesn't) you know the struggle of finding a station that offers diesel in the middle of nowhere. This allows you to use truck stops to refuel. Some attendants are skeptical, as auto-stop functions won't work and you'll have to fuel "by ear", but this can make the difference between getting stranded or continuing on your adventures. I recommend this be kept in all TDI trunks with the spare tire.

Works well but it would be perfect with a rubber gasket inside to make a better seal. The diesel sprays out a little if you aren’t very careful.

Hopefully i wont ever have to use this, but better safe than sorry
