For all 2009+ Jetta TDI, Sportwagen TDI and Golf TDI. The low pressure EGR system brings exhaust gases from after the exhaust filters back and recycles them through the engine. This grommet seals the low-pressure EGR tube to the turbocharger adapter / mixer located on the turbo inlet. It is a good idea to replace this if replacing the either the turbo or EGR tube as this part can get brittle and eventually leak in older cars.
