The oil cooler is the first failure point that leads to a waterfall of other failures on the 6.0L engine. The oil cooler is prone to clogging on the coolant side, leading to a variety of problems such as engine overheating. A clogged oil cooler will also block coolant reaching the EGR cooler, leading to EGR cooler failure as well.

Replacing the oil cooler before it fails is the best way to avoid problems in the future. This kit includes a new factory type oil cooler and an oil cooler insatllation gasket kit.
