This vacuum line runs from the pump at the end of the camshaft to the brake booster. Part of it is plastic and is prone to splitting with age. Replacing this line can help remedy a low or sinking brake pedal.
This line can also get plugged with debris, which can interfere with vacuum supply to the turbo. Low boost conditions can sometimes be addressed through replacing this line.
