A bad or failing MAF can result in low fuel economy, low power and "limp mode" where the car loses all power until restarted.

Installed this MAF with the limp mode kit and it would throw a P0103 code. When I start the engine it would bog down and almost die, then blow a bunch of black smoke out the exhaust. Installed my old MAF and it ran perfect. Also installed into my buddys TDI and it did the exact same thing. Returning for a refund or upgraded part.
