Bought this as a replacement for a stripped out pan. Fit was perfect, I’d recommend the new hardware with this as well for a cleaner/smoother install + peace of mind. Drain plug came torqued to spec. Also came with a paper gasket—however I recommend a silicone RTV in lieu of these as they are prone to leaking on these TDIs. I’m a stickler for original manufacturer parts, but this is a great alternative for the price.

I purchased this expecting to have to trim something. Nope, no problems. Plus it's the most affordable kit out there. No leaks, and the mounting surface was true and level. Came with gasket, oil drain plug, and the oil pan itself. Start with the 4 smaller bolts against the transmission with an Allen attachment. Just FYI.

Hit a block of ice while on a road trip. IDParts got this to me fast, it fit fine and the oil pan gasket was spot on too.
